He feels strongly that we are all called to be of service to one another and carry out Christ’s work while we are here on this earth. He sees working at Love INC as a wonderful opportunity to be of service to others and use the gifts God gave him. Matt has a passion for people and leads by example trying to bring out the best in everyone that crosses paths with him.
Paula Scott Stewart joined Love INC in January 2012 as the Clearinghouse Coordinator. She is retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections and has also worked for a large non-profit in the Development Department. Paula is very active at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church where she has served as Elder, Deacon and a Commissioned Pastoral Assistant. She believes that we are all created with the purpose of giving back and helping those who are in need - to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There is no better feeling than to be able to extend Grace to someone who needs it or to show someone who is struggling that there is hope by ministering to them. By partnering with numerous churches, we can connect people to a church where they can grow in their faith – a place they can call home.
Amanda Gillihan joined Love INC in August 2012 as the new Administrative Assistant. She has recently graduated from Baker College of Muskegon with a bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in accounting. She became a Christian at the age of 8 and eventually started to teach 5 day clubs. She grew up attending New Era Bible Church but when she graduated from High School she moved to Muskegon, this made it difficult to attend her home church. Amanda is currently trying to find a church that makes her feel right at home. She recently heard a motto that she has decided to live her life to. “God is first, others are second, and I’m third.” – Camp Pendalouan.
Phil Quinn joined Love INC in June 2013 as the Relational Ministries Coordinator. His previous positions have included church ministry, mentoring program coordination, and hospitality – he most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at a large Mackinac Island resort. Phil and his family are attending Bridge Bible Church, and he is earning his Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary. Peter writes, “Based on the gift they have received, everyone should use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.” Phil is passionate about helping people in the church discover the gifts they have been given, equipping them with the tools they need, and supporting them as they serve others – freeing them to take up the gifts and calling God has given them to serve their neighbors in Muskegon County and around the world.
